Tea Time - Introduction of quarantine detector dog training center - Demonstration of detecting ability training

Quarantine Detector Dog training Center provides a positive learning environment to train detector dogs and officers, as teams, to safeguard Korean agriculture.
We develop innovative ways for these teams to prevent pests and agricultural diseases from entering the Korea through airports, international borders, postal facilities.

The National Institute of Biological Resources (NIBR) of the Ministry of Environment was established in 2007 under the goal of "realization of sovereign rights to biological resources via biodiversity conservation and its sustainable use" and has striven to enhance national competitiveness by laying the foundation for the systematic management of biological resources that are the precious assets of our future generation and for supporting bio industry. NIBR's Exhibition Hall is the only place in Korea that exclusively displays Korea's native species in order to raise public awareness on the importance and value of biological resources and biodiversity, and showcases the biological resources of the Korean Peninsula (6,000 specimens of 1,500 species) and how they are utilized. Please come and find out about the diversity and importance of our species at the NIBR.

Since the opening in 1976, Everland Zootopia has been serving as a globally endangered species conservation institute by breeding golden monkeys, cheetah and other endangered species thus providing a great learning environment to the visitors by raising awareness about the ecosystem and function of wildlife.
Representative facilities include 'Panda World’, an environmental conscious exhibition that provides opportunity to see globally endangered species like giant panda, red panda, and golden monkey, 'Lost Valley', a drive-in safari attraction where visitors can ride in an open-air amphibious vehicles to observe freely roaming animals like giraffe, elephant, rhino and cheetah.
And 'Safari World', an breath-taking exhibit where visitors can observe interaction between fierce animals like lion, tiger, brown bear and hyenas
